What we check
- Registration and qualification, verified against the register for your trade: NICEIC, NAPIT or an equivalent competent-person scheme for electrical; Gas Safe with the right categories; IFE, IFSM or BAFE SP205 for fire risk assessment; LCA membership for water hygiene; UKAS accreditation or P402 for asbestos surveys; recognised awarding bodies for training.
- Insurance: public liability and professional indemnity, certificate seen, in date.
- The buyer’s charter: itemised quotes, no multi-year terms, no auto-renewal, no upsell in the assessment visit, and typical prices published to Compliance Buyer.
- References from three small-business clients, contacted by us.
- A sample of your work, reviewed by an independent qualified practitioner: an FRA, an EICR, a legionella assessment, a survey, whatever you do.
What you get
- A listing on Compliance Buyer, by trade and area, with your tier.
- A badge for your own website that links back here.
- Buyers who arrive already knowing what they need and what it should cost, which is a better customer than a cold lead.

What it isn’t
Not a lead-generation site. You won’t pay per lead, per month, or per anything. Not an accreditation: we don’t certify, we review, and we say so. Not a place a national provider can buy its way onto: the criteria include annual terms and itemised quotes, and most of them can’t meet those.
